The organization promotes education savings scheme for caregivers and parents to save money earlier for their primary and secondary children. At the end of each year, the savings are given back to the beneficiaries to buy basic amenities like uniform, text books or transport back to school. Many caregivers and parents have embraced this scheme which is affordable and convenient to them.
The greatest challenge in the program is the big number of orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) knocking VICOCAP office seeking for school fees financial support which the organization does not have.
The immediate needs of the program are:
- Volunteers for the mentorship program
- Financial support for the young mothers (Girls) who want to go back to school or college
- Boost the IMKE Education Fund to reach needier children.
